What it does

• Snip a region, window, or screen

  Ctrl+Shift+S opens the same Windows snip overlay you already know, and OpusCanvas picks the snip up for markup. Full screen capture works too.

• Always ready

  OpusCanvas waits in the system tray, so the shortcut works with the window closed. The tray menu has New capture, Full screen, Open, and Quit.

• Delay for menus and tooltips

  Choose no delay, 3 seconds, or 5 seconds, so menus and tooltips that close when you click away can be captured.

• Numbered steps

  Click to drop 1, 2, 3 badges that count up on their own. Good for how-to guides and bug reports.

• Arrows, boxes, text, and more

  Arrow, box, ellipse, line, pen, highlighter, and text, in seven colors and three thicknesses. Hold Shift for straight lines and square boxes.

• Blur what should stay private

  Pixelate names, numbers, and passwords so they cannot be read, before the image goes anywhere.

• Change your mind

  Every mark stays movable until you close the capture. Drag ends and corners to reshape, double-click text to edit, and undo or redo as far as you need. Crop when you are done.

• One click copy

  Copy, or press Ctrl+C, puts the marked up image on the clipboard, ready to paste.

• It saves itself

  Each capture is saved right away as a PNG in Pictures\Screenshots, the same folder Windows uses, and changes save a moment after you make them.

• Open or paste an image

  Open or drop a PNG or JPEG to mark it up, or press Ctrl+V on the start screen to start from an image on the clipboard.

• Light and dark

  Follows Windows or your choice, with themes shared across the OpusNexus apps.

• No account, no tracking

  OpusCanvas works fully offline and never sees your screenshots. They stay on your PC.
